Phainoma was originally founded in 2009. In the beginning starting out as a photography and outdoor guiding endeavor. Fairly quickly I earned myself international recognition as an outdoor adventure photographer.

Over the years I’ve photographed for a multitude of brands and magazines such as Red Bull, Hilleberg The Tentmaker and Runner’s World. My photography and writing subsequently published in magazines and advertizing all around the world.

With over a decade in the adventure sports scene, working both as a photographer and outdoor guide, that road eventually led me into softgoods product design.

In 2020 the company was restructured into Phainoma and a textile workshop was established with the goal to develop fishing and hunting gear that could meet the demands of outdoor professionals and guides.

Today these products are sold worldwide under the Phainoma brand while I also offer design and development services for other companies in the outdoor industry.

I proudly develop and produce everything right here in Lapland, northern Sweden. This means I can offer premium gear in relatively small scale; all while supporting local production and keeping waste and shipments to a minimum.

The products I make exhibit modern Scandinavian design with the durability and functionality that outdoor professionals demand.
